How we’d brew it
About it
Single-origin coffee from Araku Valley, Andhra Pradesh, grown by smallholders.
If you already drink our Chikmagalur, brew this the same way and taste the two side by side.
Pick how you brew and we send it ground for that, or take whole beans and grind them just before you brew. The roast date is stamped on the back of the bag, and it’s best within a month of it.
250 g in a flat-bottomed paper pouch with a one-way valve. Once it’s open, squeeze the air out, zip it shut and keep it out of the sun.
Where it’s from
Araku Valley, Andhra Pradesh, in the Eastern Ghats.
Grown by smallholders. In parts of the valley the coffee grows in the shade of silver oaks, with pepper vines up their trunks, and farmers grow fruit, turmeric and ginger alongside it.
